Good skin habits

You have discovered the perfect skincare products for yourself and your routine is also on fleek. And yet you are still troubled by blemishes? Then you should probably look for the reasons for that in other places. Because bad lifestyle habits may be the reason for your existing skin dilemma.

Below we show you 3 habits for beautiful skin:

1. Sleep well! A pale complexion, terrible dark circles and redness here and there. These are typical signs of a lack of sleep. If you are not well rested, your skin won’t be either. This weakens the skin and reduces its ability to protect itself from environmental stressors. Skin with a weakened barrier is much more prone to blemishes. Therefore, always try to sleep at least 7 hours. You should be in bed especially between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., because this is when the cell metabolism is most active. That means your skin can regenerate properly.

2. Don't stress! Whenever you are stressed, the stress hormone cortisol accumulates in your body. This causes a higher sebum production. This excess sebum can in turn clog your pores, cause skin inflammation and cause pimples. Try to incorporate moments of relaxation into your everyday life. This can be a short tea break, a few minutes of meditation or a sports session.

3. Eat yourself beautiful! We have often talked about dishes and foods that are good for your skin (and your health) here in the GLIMBLOG. So browse around and try out one or the other Korean dish. Because these are often served with lots of vegetables, beans, sesame, etc. - all ingredients for beautiful skin. In general, of course, avoid fast food, soft drinks and sweets and drink plenty of water!
