Beauty resolutions for 2021

You may already know some of them. And if not - then it is high time! Here are our top 5 habits for flawless, youthful skin.

#1 Apply sheet masks weekly

Sheet masks provide your skin with a concentrated load of moisture and nutrients in no time. Your skin appreciates that particularly if it is extra dry in winter, is irritated after a day under the mask or needs moisture quickly after a peeling. Simply open the sachet, put on the mask and sit back for 15 minutes. And yet we often forget them in the hectic pace of everyday life. For the next year, stock up on a small supply of masks and place it clearly on your table or in the bathroom. We recommend using a sheet mask at least once a week. This will save you and your skin from dry spots and wrinkles.

#2 Eat yourself (and your skin) healthy

What you eat every day affects the condition of your skin. So add foods to your meals that are known to be especially good for the skin. Vegetables are a must. Berries are also one of our favourites. They are loaded with antioxidants that protect your skin from environmental influences and ultimately prevent premature aging. It is also worth taking a look at the Korean cuisine, because Koreans use a lot of healthy and skin-beneficial ingredients in their cooking. A few examples: sesame seeds, beans, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin.

#3 Drink plenty

We probably don't have to tell you, but drinking plenty of water is a must for our health and that of our skin. In addition to water, we also recommend tea. Green tea, for example, works against skin aging, inflammation and redness. So away with the soft drinks and get yourself some tea!

#4 Don't stress out (too much)

Stress only makes wrinkles. On the one hand, because you are likely to frown under stress and forehead wrinkles form as a result. On the other hand, because stress hormones reduce the elasticity of your skin in the long term, making wrinkles appear easier and faster. We can often not completely avoid stress in everyday life, but we can do things to reduce stress at the end of the day. Reserve a few hours a week in which you can pursue your hobbies or just switch off completely. Put your phone away, light a scented candle, apply a sheet mask, close your eyes - and just relax.

Apply sunscreen every day. It doesn't matter if it's cloudy or rainy outside. It doesn't matter if you're just sitting at home. Because harmful UV rays also get to your skin through clouds and windows. But before you grimace at the thought of your sticky white sunscreen, sun protection products are much more comfortable to wear and apply these days. Trust us on that!
