glimyu Ingredient Bible (Part 7): Nourishing Flowers

Roses

Rose water is a natural moisturizer. Whether in the toner, serum or facial spray – it gives your skin a pleasantly fragrant boost of moisture. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory effect, it also helps to relieve skin irritation and redness. And last but not least, it also supports your skin in maintaining its youthfulness. Rose water keeps fine wrinkles away and your skin retains its elasticity thanks to its antioxidant properties.

Camellias

The oil obtained from camellias can improve dry skin in the long term by protecting it from harmful environmental influences and also giving it a radiant glow. However, it does not leave a greasy film on the skin and is quickly absorbed, which is very pleasant in application. Camellia oil also has an anti-inflammatory and firming effect, which can, for example, help with pimples and counteract the formation of wrinkles.

Lavender

When we think of this purple flower, the soothing scent immediately springs to mind. It is precisely for this reason that it is often used in night care not only to keep the skin silky, but also to promote restful sleep. In addition, ingredients obtained from lavender also have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Lavender oil also helps your skin maintain a healthy oil balance to prevent it from getting dry patches.
